The Sufi Psychology Association presented at the Illinois Psychological Association’s Annual Convention which was based around the theme “Trauma: Helping our Clients, our Communities and Ourselves”. SPA discussed the utilization of Sufi principles and Sufi Psychotherapy when working with trauma in a symposium titled “Sufi Psychology: Utilizing Islamic Sufism in Working with Trauma”.
