Sufism: The Science of the Soul The Sufi Psychology Association journal is titled Sufism: The Science of the Soul. , and is interdisciplinary in scope. It contains a variety of theoretical and research articles, stories, art and poetry, and utilizes both linear and non-linear processes which speak to the soul as well as to the brain. The contents are carefully selected to convey various aspects of the journey from alienation from one’s true being and from God toward connection with the Source of Life and re-union of the heart and soul with the Divine Beloved. 
The journal is published semi-annually in English. Membership in the Sufi Psychology Association includes a subscription to Sufism: The Science of the Soul. Non-member subscriptions are 15USD per year including postage and handling within the US. Individual copies may be purchased for 5.95USD plus 2.95USD for US postage and handling. If you are a student of MTO Shahmaghsoudi®, you are encouraged to share your learning and experiences with others. Perhaps you have researched a particular topic related to Sufism, or have been inspired to create an artwork or poem. We encourage and welcome submissions for the journal and website. Essays should be less than 3000 words and adhere to the American Psychological Association formatting rules. Please submit your work via e-mail to The Editor at sufipsy@att.net. Memorial Research Paper Contest For a $1,000 prize, college students are encouraged to write a research paper on the Sufi Psychology of the Masters of MTO Shahmaghsoudi, School of Islamic Sufism.
