Sufi Psychology Association®

Sufi Psychology Association conferences are interdisciplinary, and are held each year in university settings. The 14th Annual Conferences will be held during the academic year of 2009-2010.

Speakers

Speakers come from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds and provide different and interesting perspectives on Sufi Psychology and Sufi Psychotherapy. For example, the speakers for this academic year include a physician, a neuroscientist, and an engineering research scientist, as well as marriage and family therapists and psychologists. All are students of Nader Angha, Pir of MTO Shahmaghsoudi, and practitioners who apply his teachings to their research and practices.

Conference Details

The conferences are held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m on a Saturday or Sunday. Delicious complimentary Persian breakfast, lunch and snacks nourish the body. Participants often comment on the caring atmosphere of beauty, harmony, peace and love they experience. The conference is an experience of what is being discussed.

The conferences are open to the public and community members attend. Continuing Education units are offered for Licensed Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors in various states.

Fees include tuition as well as a gourmet Persian breakfast, lunch and snacks.

45 USD for Members
15 USD for Students and University Staff (with ID)
Checks in U.S. dollars are the preferred method of payment.
